Second Grade Spanish Classes Use Geometrical Forms to Create "Los Animales" in their Habitats

Students in both second grade Spanish classes have been learning about animals (los animales) while also learning geometrical forms/shapes.  Students have chosen an animal, drawn that animal's habitat, and then used geometrical forms to make that animal.  Upon completion, the student has written the animal's name in Spanish, and then identified the geometrical shapes used to create the animal by writing a list in Spanish on the backs of their pictures!  We have very creative students!
