Spanish students in PK-2nd grades will be celebrating 'La Primavera' the week of the 25th of April! Students will learn the names of the activities we are playing, and will enjoy doing those activities outside. Some of the younger children will even have the opportunity to be guided by their older Spanish buddies in sixth grade. We will be hula hooping, playing 'Pato, Pato, Ganso' (Duck, Duck, Goose), drawing with 'tiza' (chalk), and practicing 'arriba' (up) and 'abajo' (down) with a parachute (see colorful picture above). The children will even be blowing 'burbujas' (bubbles)! What a fun way to enjoy the beauty of spring while learning Spanish!
