2nd Grade Spanish Students Illustrate "Too Many Tamales" by: Gary Soto

The second grade Spanish classes have been learning about a Famous Hispanic American, Gary Soto.  Gary Soto is an author of children's books and poetry.  His family originates from Mexico.  We read the book, "Too Many Tamales," and the children were asked to illustrate their favorite parts of the story.  Pictured are some of the children with their illustrations!

 We will be tasting authentic tamales this week as a culminating activity!
