Both third grade classes are being creative in Spanish. They are learning all the names of the shapes in Spanish. While doing this, they are learning about wild and domestic animals!
Students are being challenged to create four projects on card stock. They are to choose two domestic and two wild animals, and create them with geometric shapes. The geometric shapes may not be cut or changed in any way. Students must write the names of the animals on the projects in Spanish with the English translation, and provide that animals habitat! They must also be able to name the shapes they used on their projects in Spanish.
Students are provided foam shapes of various colors, pipe cleaners, tacky glue, yarn, crayons, scissors, google eyes, and card stock to work with. Check back soon to view photographs of some of the students' creations on our Spanish blog!
