Hello Parents,
All Spanish students, grades PK-8, may purchase our new Spanish T-Shirt. The shirt may be worn on days selected in celebration of Hispanic holidays/events/people. There will be one day each month set aside to wear this t-shirt with jeans/shorts. The date will be announced monthly. The purpose of having this shirt is to show pride and support of our Spanish program. We are proud of what the children are accomplishing and want to celebrate with them!
IMPORTANT: THIS SHIRT WILL ONLY BE ORDERED ONE TIME. THE DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH, AT 3:30 P.M. THE FORM IS TO BE GIVEN TO MRS. STAFFORD WITH $7.00 CASH (PLEASE). THE SHIRTS WILL BE DELIVERED ON OCTOBER 29TH AND WILL BE WORN THE FIRST TIME ON NOVEMBER 2ND, “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS” (DAY OF THE DEAD).
Each time a day is celebrated, we will be teaching the students about the cultural aspect of that day. Students who are in Spanish Club (grades 2-4) may wear their t-shirts on their Spanish Club day. Students may wear their t-shirts on Spanish field trips. Also, all Spanish students may wear the t-shirt for our annual Spanish Festival on Cinco de Mayo.
Shirts are not mandatory. We just thought they would be a fun part of Spanish this year. Parents, feel free to order one for yourself if you would like to. It would be cool to see you in one of our shirts on Spanish Festival day!
