The Elementary Spanish Clubs for All Saints Catholic School will begin in September. Students will meet for lunch and fellowship in the Elementary Spanish classroom. After lunch, students will be making "Amigos" necklaces in the color symbolizing each class. Students voted for the colors they liked the best! The Spanish Club schedule for this year is as follows:
Mrs. Clark's 2nd grade - first Thursday of the month from 11:30 - 12:10
Mrs. Hinderman's 2nd grade - second Thursday of the month from 11:30 - 12:10
Mrs. Spears' 3rd grade - third Thursday of the month from 12:05 - 12:45
Ms. Abernathy's 4th grade - third Wednesday of the month from 12:05 - 12:45
Mr. Shildt's 4th grade - second Wednesday of the month from 12:05 - 12:45
Each month's meeting will begin with lunch and fellowship followed by a cultural activity from a Spanish-speaking country. We will be making arts and crafts, listening to Hispanic folktales and legends, and the teacher will be preparing Hispanic foods during the meeting for students to sample. We have a terrific time. All students, grades two through four are welcome!
