Most of the students in second, third, and fourth grades are participating in Spanish Club. The Spanish Club meets once per month for each group. The schedule is as follows:
Mrs. Clark's 3rd Grade meets the 1st Tuesday of the month
from 12:05 to 12:45.
Mrs. Spears' 3rd Grade meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month
from 12:05 to 12:45.
Mrs. Hinderman's 2nd Grade meets the 3rd Thursday of the month
from 11:15 to 12:00.
Both 4th grade classes meet the 4th Tuesday of the month
from 12:05-12:45.
The meetings are held in Mrs. Stafford's classroom. The club eats lunch together. Then, a cultural activity is shared. Students made "Amigos" bracelets during the November meeting. Each club has its own color of beads the bracelets are made from. Students are encouraged to wear their bracelets on meeting days. In December, students made "Feliz Navidad" bookmarks and listened to the book, "The Legend of the Poinsettia", a Mexican legend written by Tomie dePaola.
