Spanish Festival Fun
The annual Spanish Festival held on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) was so much fun for everyone at All Saints. Students "traveled with passports" to twenty-one Spanish-speaking countries and one Portuguese-speaking country. All students, grades PK through eighth, participated. Students in grades 3-8 displayed projects that they had been working on for six weeks. There was dancing, singing, an opera called "Don Gato", foods, art, videos, puppet shows, and demonstrations of all kinds. Our parents and teachers worked side-by-side with the children as they educated one another with Hispanic culture. The children can't wait to do it again next year!!!!!!
